Measurements

I finally took my measurements.  My shoulders are 41 3/4, my neck is 13 5/8, and so are my biceps, again, I don’t measure my chest.  I’m too chesty to measure accurately for the time being.  My waist is measuring a 36 3/4, which is up, but again, I’m having some problems with bloating and constipation, so I’m not giving that much merit, my thigh measures 25.5 and my calves are 16 3/4.  I didn’t measure them last time.  It appears that I lost a lot of inches with my shoulders and neck, but I gain 1/8 inch with my biceps, but I’ve lost 1/2 inch in my thigh too.

Weight Gain

Well, here we go again.  I guess this is my pattern.  My body must be like a sling shot.  It doesn’t propel forward until I pull back.  I gain a little, then suddenly I lose a bunch of weight.  I did have a slip a couple of days ago, but I have had worse before and still lost weight.  I’ve been working out and I’ve stepped up the intensity of routine.  We’ll see next week.  Sunday I’ll measure.  I have also been having some problems with constipation so that could account for the weight gain. 

Up again

Well, I’m up a little in weight.  I’m not too freaked out about it.  I haven’t been exercising and it’s that special time of the month.  I feel better and I’m exercising again so,   I’ll have a better assessment of it next week.  I need to get the measuring tape out again on Sunday too.

Finally, the scale budged

Well, I finally got the scale to budge.  There must be some weird physics associated with when I decided to bring out the measuring tape.  Yay!

I’m married to the website just entering the food

Wow, there is really very little that I eat that the website has accounted for because of how I eat.   I don’t have time to keep entering all the nutritional information for my unique items, so I just substitute something with similar caloric value.  It doesn’t really tell you what I’ve actually eaten though.  At least I can still be accountable

Well, okay.  Here’s the measurements.  My neck is 14 3/4, my bicep is 13.5, my shoulders are 44, I don’t know how to measure my bust because my breasts are so large, my waist is 35.25, my hips are 46, and my thigh is 26 (Yikes, people have waists that small).  I’m looking forward to next weeks results.

Valentine’s day…

Valentine’s day was an eating fiasco, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.  I gained another pound on my weigh in today, but I went out and got a measuring tape, just in case I may still be losing inches.  I have been working out more regularly, so perhaps a little muscle is building.  I just have to continue to documenting what I’m doing and gradually elimating certain habits from my life.

1.5 gain

I know I’m not doing a lot of aerobic activity, but I have been very busy.  I write down everything that I eat.  This has been my frustration since I moved to Long Island.  I had gained some weight, which I started getting rid of before I moved here, but then when I moved here, I gained another 30lbs.  I didn’t think I was living in a mystified state of consuming too many calories, but I wasn’t writing my food down, so I had no way to really know.  I have been eating ice cream, however, in terms of my calorie intake, I should have lost weight anyway.  I’m going to readjust my activity level and see if I’m not being realistic that way.

Weigh in day

OOOOOOOOkay!!!  Well I lost 7.5 pounds in a week, however, I had my period, yes I’m posting period, lol.  I may as well give the blow by blow so I have an accurate record of my weight loss.  I wanted a before and after picture, but I haven’t gotten that far yet.  The best representation that I have of my weight at the moment is the picture with my family.  If I loose another 7 pounds next week, then I’ll make adjustments accordingly.  Well, there we are for now.

Tomorrow is the weigh in

Well, before I weigh in the am, according to the calorie deficit calculator,  I have burned 9898 calories this week.  Technically, that should mean that I should have lost close to 3 lbs.  This is a great web site!  After I weigh in tomorrow, I’ll start setting some weekly goals.  So far, it hasn’t been too difficult.
